THE BIO's:Found Art was created by a group of art-lovers at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. From the beginning, Found Art has been passionate about impacting the community through free tutorials, event listings, and the involvement in select after-school programs. Since then, Found Art has spread statewide. The staff at Found Art is constantly on the lookout for examples of anonymous, public art to feed the ever-growing Gallery, which was created to preserve extremely temporal art. Found Art believes in the power of creativity and continually fights for artists' rights.
Hunter became involved with FoundArt in her junior year at the University of New Mexico. Although her degree was not in art studio, FoundArt allowed her to express her artistic and academic virtues at the same time. Her favorite medium is charcoal and can still be seen around the UNM campus witnessing and documenting "Found Art."
Orion jumped on board when his friends and co-founders came to him with the offer to join them to start FoundArt.
As a child Orion did chalk drawings on the sidewalk. When he joined FoundArt he focused on chalk art. He took that childhood past time and made it into his passion. He became a sidewalk artist while he was attending UNM for his BFA.

Violet is an additional co-founder of FoundArt, she met her fellow founders while attending the University of New Mexico, also for her BFA.
She has worked in spray paint previously and was thus was thrilled when she was invited to co-create a site that would highlight the ephemeral street arts and possibly assist in getting them more broadly accepted.
